I agree with Harvey’s overall message, but it’s not just blacks it’s Latinos as well. I disagree with most of his comments on telling us how to dress just to impress someone else. No one is the fashion police, but I won’t defend those individuals that wear their pants all the way down exposing their boxers. This is something I just don’t get and I like to wear relaxed comfortable items that body can breath in, but whatever. The point is we can’t front that there is a problem in the urban music that we listen to degrading our women and women openly embracing this. What do you feel about this? Do you he has a point? If so, what solutions are there to this problem?
*Every time I use the word black I speak for Latinos as well, which is another frustrating thing that people don’t make clear when they use the word black. Blacks aren’t the only one who live in poverty and have trouble with issue’s like degrading their own women !
