Living in The Matrix

Someone recently told me that people who use Twitter are built out of binary code. This was a very funny statement but warranted some serious thought behind it. The world we live in today revolves completely around the Internet, computers, and our cell phones. The world we live in would fall apart if we unplugged out of this Matrix for just an hour. Imagine if there was a button that could turn the Internet off?  Really, imagine the Internet being off for just an hour? What kind of damage would that cause?

People are too caught up in the digital world constantly using their Ipods, computers, cell phones, and social networking sites, etc. I mean the list can go on. When was the last time that you unplugged yourself from the matrix and took a chance to experience nature? No, I mean really experience nature as in leaving the Ipod and cell phone at home. Take a look into the sky. It is a whole different world out there, speaking a whole different language, that many times we blatantly ignore.

Information Technology has a mission to assist people, so then why do we let it control us? Movies like the Matrix, the Terminator, and even Resident Evil take a step closer into reality by the second. Do not let the Umbrella and Cyberdyne corporations take a hold of our lives!

Who are you really? Socially inept people hide behind their keyboard and turn into human Gods over the internet. Are you one of these? I know of individuals who have lost their partners due to the lewd relationships they were having with digital women whom did not even exist. Welcome to Internet porn. Aside from that, we know people who online may be extremely popular and friendly, but meeting them in person is a shock as we see that they have no social skills.

With all that being said, let me clarify that it is ok to take advantage of the Matrix but do not let it consume you. Break free from the chains abroad!
